Ferozepur, May 18, 2022: A Great Indian Bridal Show was held at the campus of Dev Samaj College for Women, on Tuesday, organized by the Post Graduate Cosmetology and Health Care Department to provide a platform for the students to showcase their talents of dressing like a bride.
The bridal show was inaugurated by chief guest Manmanjot Kaur wife of SSP Navjot Singh and special guest hairstylist Tushar Bansal and makeup artist Shalini Singh.
It was amazing to see the overwhelming response of as many as 30 brides to show off their fashion together by walking on the ramp and exhibiting their creative skills, even some holding the garland – jai mala – in their hands by dressing up a beautiful bride in traditional dresses. When one beautiful bride after another was appearing in front of the camera, the excitement of the audience increased with the sound of applause. The brides were made to present themselves in front of the judges with an impressive bridal walk to the rhythm playing of the background music.
Dr.Sangeeta Principal said, the programme has provided an opportunity to the students of the Cosmetology Department to showcase their talents and prospective makeup artists brought Indian, Marathi, Punjabi, and Christian girls as brides on the ramp. The competition was held in three different stages and in the final results Kompal, Ramneet, and Tarundeep won first, second and third place respectively in the Best Bridal Makeup.
Kanika Sachdeva, HoD said it was a platform for students to showcase their skills. The highlight of the show was that all the models were college girls and the makeup artists were also girls.
