New Delhi, June 15, 2022:
In an old case of the Arms Act registered at the Mohan Garden police station of New Delhi this year, the Patiala House Court on Wednesday ordered 7-days police remand of gangster Jagdeep Singh alias Jaggu Bhagwanpuria .
Bhagwanpuria was produced before the court of Duty MM Anam Rais Khan virtually from Tihar Jail . The police sought a 10-day remand for him in this connection. The police argued that Bhagwanpuria is one of the main criminals of the Lawrence Bishnoi-Kala Jathedi gang and his custody was required to apprehend the wanted gang members including Jack & Sahil Bishnoi from their hideouts in Punjab and Rajasthan and seize more illicit arms/ ammunition and to bust the complete chain of this illicit arms/ ammunition trafficking syndicate.
After hearing the arguments of both parties, the court sent Jagupuria remand for seven days and ordered to produce him before Duty MM on JUne 22, 2022.
