Jalandhar, June 24 2022:
National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) Chairman Alka Upadhyaya on Friday reviewed the progress of various highway projects including Delhi-Katra Expressway, Jalandhar Bypass, in Amritsar-Bathinda Greenfield Bypass and widening of NH-70 and Adampur flyover.
During a video-conference with the Punjab Chief Secretary Anirudh Tiwari and Deputy Commissioners, NHAI Chairman said that the projects in which appointed date (date which contractor should start work) had to be declared on priority so the process of land possession and disbursement of awards need to be expedited on war footing so that land could be handed over to contractors thus paving way for construction work.
