75th year of Independence of India: Janbaz Motorcycle Show-2022 held at PAU Ludhiana
Ludhiana, August 6, 2022: On 05th Aug’ 2022, on the occasion of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ to commemorate 75th year of Independence of India, ‘BSF JANBAZ Motorcycle
Show - 2022’ was organized at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. The occasion was graced by the presence of Dr. Kaustabh Sharma, IPS,
Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana as chief guest, Shri Narinder Bhargav, IPS (Joint Commissioner of Police (City), Ludhiana), Mrs Saumya Mishra, IPS (Joint Commissioner of Police (L&O), Ludhiana), Dr. (Mrs) Sandeep Bains (Dean, PAU), Dr. Manav Indra Singh Gill (Dean, PAU), Dr. Shammi Kapoor (Dean, PAU), Dr.
Ashok Kumar (Dean, PAU), Mrs Avneet Kaur, SSP (Arjuna Awardee, Olympian), Shri Teja Singh Dhaliwal (Gen. Secy, Punjab Basketball Association) and
Master Saleem (Singer).
During the event, the team put up a stunning display and showcased their skills. Rows of uniformed bike riders, standing in perfect coordination perched on
their Royal Enfield bullets left the spectators astonished. The daredevils under the command of their team captain Inspector Awadhesh Kumar displayed various
intrepid maneuvers like back riding (ladder), jaguar formation, neck riding, fish riding, chest jump, janbaz salute (pole), janbaz jump,etc.
The show was witnessed by various dignitaries of State administration, Police, BSF, students / staff members of Punjab Agricultural University and the local public of ludhiana.
The chief guest was welcomed by Shri Asif Jalal, IPS, IG BSF Punjab Frontier. The chief guest made audience aware about the outstanding contribution
of District Police, in keeping the city and the surrounding areas safe and secure and developing a Police-Public friendly atmosphere, besides elaborating about BSFJanbaz Motorcycle Team and its performance.
Chief Guest Dr. Kaustabh Sharma, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana lauded the riders for their self-determination, mental alertness,
unmatched courage, physical stamina and precision in handling of motor cycles and wished success to the team for their future endeavors.
