RSS inciting some sections to divide Sikh Panth- SGPC Chief Dhami’s direct attack on RSS
Amritsar, August 8, 2022 : SGPC President Harjinder Singh Dhami, today, blamed RSS for inciting and encouraging some section of Sikhs to divide the Sikh Panth and to captaure Sikh instituions like SGPC. He said that said that on instance of RSS these people want to prepare ground and they want to grab control of SGPC by any means.
Addressing the function to observe centenary of Guru Ka Bagh Morch in 1922 under Gurdwar Sudhar lehar was organized today by SGPC at Gurdwara Guru Ka Bagh Ghukewali, Amritsar SGPC President Harjinder Singh Dhami announced active Dharm Prachar lehar to continue to reach people on history of Sikh religion and also said that Sangat should also cooperate in this campaign. He said that in the present times many people were working on the directives of anti Sikh people and want to divide community and the latter should understand conspiracy behind it.
Many of prominnet Panthak leaders and sennior leaders of Akali Dal inclduing Sukh bir Badal was sitting on the stage when Dhami spoke.
Advocate Dhami said that on instance of RSS these people want to prepare ground and they want to grab control of SGPC by any means. He said that Khalsa Panth has always fought from the front with these anti Panthic forces and even today it was powerful enough to ensure that conspiracies of such forces are not fruitful. He said that challenges have ever made Sikh Panth more powerful and Sikh history and Morchas and Sake are proof of it. He said that Guru Ka Bagh Morcha was also such challenging during which Sikh panth had defeated anti Panthic forces. He also said that SGPC was active in border area for preaching Sikhism and opposing religious conversions. He said that though this has become an issue but ground reality is different. SGPC President announced that students of Sikh Missionary colleges will reach out in border areas for preach of religion so that reality could be ascertained.
Prominent figures of the Panth while addressing centenary congregation stressed upon necessity to learn from pages of Sikh history and work with unity for charhdikala of Panth.
