MLA Bhullar visits upcoming Aam Aadmi Clinic, three to come up in Ferozepur on Aug 15

Ferozepur, August 9, 2022: For the purpose of providing door-to-door best health services across the state, MLA Urban Ranbir Singh Bhullar today visited the Aam Admi Clinic - AAC (Mohalla Clinic) at Fer0zepur to be started in the campus of District Water Supply Sewerage Board office in the city, as a flagship programme of the Punjab government.
CM had also earlier said that clinics will be a cornerstone in revamping the health care system in Punjab by providing free health services with more than 100 clinical tests and free medicine to people. In Ferozepur, three such clinics will start working from August 15.
Bhullar said, the Punjab government led by Bhagwant Singh Mann had announced the opening of 75 AAC in Punjab on the occasion of the 75th Independence Day, which will be dedicated to the people on August 15 for providing health facilities by honouring its commitment within just five months which the previous governments could not do it during its more than 7 decades.
Expressing satisfaction over the ongoing work, Bhullar asked the officers to ensure that the work is completed within the stipulated time frame. He said that every Aam Aadmi Clinic will have a staff of others to diagnose and treat the patients. Around 41 packages with around 100 clinical tests will be offered to the people free of cost in these Aam Aadmi Clinics.
He said that in these clinics, first aid for common diseases, injuries, dressing, care of out-door patients etc. will be done besides, an IT system will be developed for patient registration and keeping a record.
Even after the formation AAP government in Punjab, the OPD in government civil hospitals has been running properly with qualified doctors and there is no shortage of staff and every promise made by the Punjab government to the people will be fulfilled, added Bhullar.
