CAPFS organizes ‘Motorcycle Rally’ with message ‘Ghar Ghar Tirnga, Har Ghar Tirnga’, also targets to plant 80,00,000 samplings

Ferozepur, August 11, 2022: On the auspicious occasion of completion of 75 years of Azadi "Ghar Ghar Tirnga, Har Ghar Tirnga campaign is being celebrated all over the country. The Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFS) are also celebrating the campaign with enthusiasm and carrying out plantation drives during the year 2022 with the target to plant 80,00,000 saplings during the monsoon season on the land available with them as well as in their surrounding areas with the motto "Each One - Plant At Least One".
In this sequence, on 11th Aug 2022, a motorcycle rally with bordering village's population (villages are - Changa khurd, Kalu Ariyan, Habeeb Wala, Nihala kilcha, Gandu kulcha and Barrake) under campaign" Ghar Ghar Tirnga, Har Ghar Tirnga" & a plantation drive as a part of "AZAADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV" were organised at the Border to motivate people about Ghar Ghar Tirnga campaign and plantation.
Brig Surendra Mehta VSM(Retd) DIG SHQ BSF Ferozepur & Birendra Kumar Bn Comdt along with Officers, BSF troops and villagers of bordering villages participated in the above.
DIG BSF SHQ Ferozepur also encouraged BSF personnel to save the environment by way of planting trees and adopting eco-friendly methods.
During the rally villagers welcome the BSF troops where they enter in the villages and BSF troops distributed National Flag to school children.
