Arpit Shukla is new ADGP Law and Order, two districts get new SSPs
Chandigarh, August 31, 2022: Punjab Government has transferred 54 senior Punjab Police officers. Out of these officers a major issue in Punjab Law and Order has been entrusted to 1993 batch IPS Arpit Shukla who will be ADGP Law and Order. He will replace Ishwar Singh who has been appointed ADGP HRD.
Similarly 1994 batch IPS Praveen Sinha has been appointed ADGP Cyber Crime. He will also hold additional charge of ADGP NRI Punjab.
Bathinda range IGP Shive Kumar has been appointed IGP Law and Order. He will also hold additional charge as IGP Security.
Similarly Kaustabh Sharma CP Ludhiana has been transferred as IGP Human rights Punjab in addition to charge of CP Ludhiana. SSP Ludhiana Rural and SSP Khanna besides SSP Vigilance Bureau Bathinda and Jalandhar have also been transferred. Damya Harish Kumar Omprakash will be new SSP Khanna. Orders for new SSP Vigilance Bureau Bathinda and Jalandhar have not been issued.
