Weapon exhibition by BSF held for four educational institutions at VWS campus

Ferozepur, October 6,2022: The Border Security Force – 136 Bn, in the series of events to mark the 75th anniversary of the Independence of India, a weapon exhibition was organized for students of four educational institutions, at the campus Vivekananda World School (VWS), to inspire the students to serve the country.
The students of VWS, Genesis Institute of Dental Science and Research and Manav Mandir Sr. Sec. School and Govt High School Satiyawala were present to enjoy the exhibition of weapons. During the exhibition, various weapons used by the Border Security Force were displayed.
Divulging with details, Vipan Kumar Sharma, Manager said in order to create a sense of patriotism among the students and to make them aware of the weapons used by the Indian Border Security Force for defence.
An exhibition of modern weapons with the BSF was organized in the school yard today in collaboration with the 136th Battalion of the Border Security Force, where students not only learned about the weapons of BSF. The personnel of the force were also briefed to deal with the day-to-day challenges while living in the border areas. It was the first time in the life of the students that they saw such modern weapons in real life, for which they thanked the officers and jawans of 136th Battalion, said Manager.
BSF official also addressed the students to motivate them to join the BSF and serve the country.
