DC Ferozepur distributes tablets to 27 meritorious students
Ferozepur, November 30, 2022: As many as 27 meritorious students were given and bags, by the Deputy Commissioner, Amrit Singhm as a part of the collaboration programme of NITI Ayog and BYJUS. On this occasion, Chamkaur Singh, DEO Secondary and Career Plus Program Nodal Officer, Komal Arora, and Anjali Rose BYJUS Associates were also present.
The government is working on the holistic development of students, art integrated learning, and flexibility in learning choice for skill development. The education department lauded the effort put in by the team to give a fillip to the hidden talent of students.
DC Amrit Singh said, these students were selected from 200 students through the ACST exam. These students will get coaching for NEET and JEE in online mode and for these students online class, session and two teachers have been deployed for the convenience of the students. The district education department and BYJUS have provided all necessary support to these students for success in the examination.
The tabs have been given with an objective to motivate them as their merit has been recognised and to support digital learning to students besides to bridge the gap in digital education of children studying in government schools. Digital interventions are very important, in this world of information, said DC.
