Asks vehicle users to use reflectors to avoid accidents
Mayank Foundation installed 500 reflectors under Road Safety Campaign
Ferozepur, November 30, 2022: To prevent accidents due to fog, Mayank Foundation has started a campaign to install reflectors on vehicles on Mallanwala-Makhu road in collaboration with Ferozepur Traffic Police.
Under this campaign, reflectors were pasted on four wheelers and bicycles. Praising the work of Mayank Foundation, District Traffic Incharge, Pushpinder Pal said that the continuous efforts of the organization under road safety are very commendable. He said that many accidents happen due to fog in winter, due to which many people have lost their lives. Our little carelessness can cause big trouble and this is reason for taking up this campaign of pasting reflectors on the vehicles.
Arnish, Coordinator, Road Safety Wing said that our only goal is to save precious lives by reducing road accidents, for which our team is working very seriously. He appealed to the people to drive slowly during fog and install reflectors on the vehicles, so that accidents can be prevented.
He said, The reflective tapes are designed to enhance visibility in low light and at night. When the back lights of vehicles do not function properly, the reflectors play an important role in alerting commuters driving in the same direction.
During this campaign, Traffic police ferozepur personas ASI Ashwani Kumar, ASI Balwinder Singh, ASI Sukhmandar Singh, Tarsane Lal, Kashmir Singh and Dr. Ghazal Preet Arneja , Rakesh Kumar, Kamal Sharma, Arun Arora, Ashwani Sharma, Sandeep Sehgal and Deepak Sharma Founder Mayank Foundation helped in installing the reflectors.
