DC Ferozepur holds Public Grievances Redressal Camp
Ferozepur, December 8, 2022: As per orders of the Punjab government, on Thursday, a Public Grievances Redressal Camp was organized at Ghall Khurd block of Ferozepur to solve the problems of the public by reaching out at their door-steps, in which the complaints were heard by the Deputy Commissioner Amrit Singh and the concerned officers were time-bound for settlement of issues raised in the camp.
On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-SDM Ranjit Singh Bhullar, Tehsildar Mrs. Sukhbir Kaur, BDPO Vipan Kumar. Harpinder Pal Singh -Robbie Sandhu representative of MLA, Naib Tehsildar Rakesh Aggarwal, Harpreet Kanungo and other officials of various departments were present.
During the camp, the people from different villages raised the issue of NREGA job cards, release of NREGA funds, pending pension cases, development works, lack of basic facilities at Talwandi Bhai bus stand, less arrival of buses at Talwandi Bhai station. pond cleaning, shortage of medicines and staff in hospitals, canal water, etc. The Deputy Commissioner issued necessary orders to the officials of concerned departments for settlement or disposal of the same.
DC told the people present in the camp that if the complaints/suggestions sent by them are not resolved on time, then they can reach the Deputy Commissioner's office and contact them without hesitation. On this occasion, she also instructed the present officials of various departments that people's work should be done on priority basis and no one should face any hardship.
