BSF organizes ‘Brass Band Show’ at historical clock tower of Fazilka
Fazilka, January 29, 2023: As part of Azadi da Amrit Mahotsav, a ‘Brass Band Show’ was organized by artist jawans of BSF's 52nd Battalion at the historic Clock Tower in Fazilka on Sunday .
On this occasion, the citizens of Fazilka along with District Deputy Commissioner Dr. Senu Duggal participated in large numbers and enjoyed this wonderful program of BSF.
Speaking on this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Senu Duggal said that such events strengthen the bond between our security forces and common people. She said that this event increases the sense of patriotism among the people. However, the sense of patriotism of the people of Fazilka is very high and the civil administration is working together with BSF in the border areas.
Commandant M Prasad of 52nd Battalion in his address said that similar programs are being conducted by BSF under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. He said that with such events, we remember the soldiers of the country's freedom struggle, while also celebrating the progress of the country after independence.
He appealed to the people to cooperate with the administration and BSF in the fight against drugs. He said that there are attempts to send drones from Pakistan and if a citizen reports drone activity and there is a recovery on his information, then such informer is given a reward of up to ₹1 lakh and the identity of the informer is kept confidential.
On this occasion, the BSF band's tunes were enjoyed by the citizens with full enthusiasm and the sense of patriotism of the people made this program wonderful.
Present among others on this occasion were Commandant Dinesh Kumar , SP Mohan Lal, Surinder Sachdeva, Leeladhar Sharma and a large number of dignitaries of the city.
