Noted Sikh Scholar Dr.Rattan Singh Jaggi conferred with Padma Shri

New Delhi, March 22, 2023: Noted academician and Sikh scholar Dr. Rattan Singh Jaggi being conferred upon the Padma Shri - the country’s coveted honor by President Droupadi Murmu in recognition to his enormous contribution in the field of education and literature at an Investiture Ceremony at Rashtarpati Bhawan, New Delhi on Wednesday.
Dr. Jaggi, a nonagenarian is an eminent scholar of Hindi and Punjabi with Gurmat and Bhakti Movement Literature being his forte.
Dr Jaggi is the father of Malwinder Singh Jaggi, IAS, Principal Secretary Information and Public Relations, Punjab.
