Renowned Journalist Ramesh Sharma, founder of 'Tatkal News' Portal passes away; CM Khattar condoles demise

Chandigarh, December 10, 2023 - Haryana Home and Health Minister Anil Vij expressed sorrow over the demise of Ramesh Sharma, the founder and senior journalist of the 'Tatkal News' portal, who was 75 years old.
In a condolence message issued here today, Home and Health Minister Shri Anil Vij stated that the loss of a beloved family member is always disheartening, and while the cycle of life and death continues, it is indeed a sad moment.
He acknowledged his longstanding association with Ramesh Sharma, a well-known figure in the journalism community of Chandigarh.
Highlighting Ramesh Sharma's contributions, Anil Vij said that he played a pivotal role in advancing social media in journalism alongside print media. The 'Tatkal News' portal, founded by Ramesh Sharma, stands as a medium for delivering news instantly.
Expressing his condolences, the Minister said that Sh. Ramesh Sharma's untimely departure is a significant loss to both society and his family. He extended heartfelt sympathy to the grieving family and offered prayers for the departed soul, hoping for solace and a place at the Lord's feet.
It is worth noting that the last rites of Ramesh Sharma will take place today at 5 pm at Shiv Dham, Sector 28, Panchkula.Haryana Chief Secretary, Sanjeev Kaushal also expressed deep sorrow over the passing of veteran journalist Ramesh Sharma.
He highlighted Sh. Ramesh Sharma's significant contributions during his association with various print media organizations.
