Rao Inderjit Singh highlighted the significant development in railway infrastructure under PM Modi's leadership over the past decade, contrasting with previous governments where railway budgets were predominantly allocated to the Rail Minister's region or states, leaving states like Haryana neglected.

The external development of the station will include smooth access and exit from the road, pick and drop points, canopies, and green spaces.

Additionally, three floors will be utilized for railway purposes. Plans for a dedicated multi-level car parking (basement + stilt + 4) on the arrival plaza with state-of-the-art security systems have also been made. Other development works, including the removal of the cement shed at Rajendra Park, are included in the project.
