Haryana has the best road connectivity in the country-Deputy CM Chautala

Chandigarh, February 28, 2024 - Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala said that Haryana has the best road connectivity in the country, with 11 expressways and 35 national highways passing through the state. Dushyant Chautala was responding to a question during the budget session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha here today.
He said that although the population of Haryana is only 2 percent, the state government is striving to improve the road network in the state. At present, there are about a dozen expressways and three dozen national highways in the state, but efforts are underway to increase their number further.
Referring to the road connectivity of Mahendragarh district, he said that the state government is working rapidly to improve road connectivity between Rewari Bypass, Rewari-Narnaul, Rewari-Delhi-Gurugram, Pataudi, and Pataudi to Rewari. Furthermore, the connectivity of Mahendragarh district via 152-D road has also been improved.
He also stated that the Union Government has approved another proposal, under which road connectivity between Hisar and Mahendragarh, Mahendragarh-Rewari, and Rewari to Tauru will be improved in the future.
The Deputy Chief Minister told the members of the House that if they have any proposals from 10-15 years ago related to constructing an expressway from Manesar to Mahendragarh via Guravada-Kanina, then it should be submitted, and the same would be considered in the future.
