DBEE holds seminar on Vocational Education in Govt School, pass-out students also joined
Ferozepur, April 30, 2024: A seminar on the selection of Vocational Education was held at border village Government High School, Chak Ghubai Urf Tangan, in Ferozepur with a special focus on future studies and career choices as only a small part of the students, especially in the remote village schools, have a clear understanding of building their line of development through education. District Employment Officers, Dilbagh Singh and Raj Kumar from the District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises (DBEE) were the keynote speakers at the event.
Always being serious about the future of the students, Shivani Monga, Principal, is always cautious about conducting such activities from time to time to keep the students awake and arranged today’s seminar for the students.
Addressing the students, the District Employment Officer, extended valuable information to the students for making plans on vocational education. He said, several opportunities are available and it is for the students to select the right path, as per their interests and demand in the market in the coming time.
Sharing his life experience, he also asked the students not to hesitate to discuss any issue with their teachers and school head for proper guidance to improve their future. Besides, he also registered 25 pass-out students online with the DBEE portal. A form was also given to the students to fill up and mail to the DBEE office to get guidance on the issue.
All the staff members were added to the Whats App group to get updated information about vocational education and plans.
