Patiala, May 16, 2024: The Bharatiya Janata Party's candidate from Patiala Lok Sabha seat, Preneet Kaur, while addressing a huge public meeting in the Anand Nagar area of Patiala Rural Assembly Constituency on Thursday, said that with the power of trust given by the people, the 'daughter of Patiala', once elected would do all-round development in the district. People of Patiala will see 5 times more development in the next 5 years, she said, adding that one of the main reasons for this was whatever promises that Prime Minister Narendra Modi made to the people of India, regarding development, were fulfilled.
MP Preneet Kaur said, "PM Narendra Modi is going to become the Prime Minister of India for the third time. If Patiala allows her to be a part of Narendra Modi's team, she will bring much development to Patiala. Apart from creating new employment opportunities, a tremendous revolution will be brought about in business. PM Modi has made road, train, and air travel easy, but the Highway Express being built from Delhi to Katra will give new heights to business in Patiala district. Besides, the double-track railway lines, once constructed, will open the way for business in Patiala.
Thanking BJP's District Urban Head Sanjeev Sharma Bittu, along with other leaders — Gurbachan Singh Lachkani, Gurdhyan Singh, Labh Singh Bhatedi, Varinder Gupta, Vijay Bhatnagar, Amit Singh, Ajaib Singh, Prof. Rachpal Singh, including the party workers and residents of Patiala Rural Assembly Constituency, Preneet Kaur said, "This is not going to be a common election but the fate of the country depends on Lok Sabha Elections as the countrymen chose their Prime Minister who will represent them. Rising above politics, I and my family have an unbreakable relationship with Patiala. The trust that the people of Patiala have in me is my strength."
Preneet Kaur further said, "Today, the law and economic system in Punjab has deteriorated. Our children are leaving their families and going abroad. The future of children and the country is in danger at this time and, to fix it, it is necessary to give the responsibility of the country to Prime Minister Narendra Modi." She added that the Punjab government has spoiled the future of Patiala as well as the entire Punjab in merely two and a half years.
Furthermore, Preneet Kaur said, "Irrespective of the conditions and situations before them, it is the responsibility of the Punjab Government to work properly."
She said, "Punjab government gave us only small medicines in the Aam Aadmi Clinic, but it failed to provide any big facility for the treatment." Adding, she said that "a grant of Rs 150 crore was given from the Central Government to make Rajindra Hospital a multispecialty hospital but due to the non-availability of experienced doctors in this hospital, people were not able to get the benefit of this hospital." Likewise, she appealed to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann that out of the Rs 750 crore that Punjab is spending on the advertisement of his party, some amount should be given to the people by recruiting good doctors and providing them the opportunity for proper treatment.
"For the good health of the people, PM Narendra Modi provided Ayushman card to people above 70 years of age, so that they can get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh," said Preneet Kaur, adding that after June 4, she would complete the development in every part of Patiala with the trust of the people. She appealed that every voter of Patiala should vote for PM Narendra Modi to make him the Prime Minister for the third time.
Preneet Kaur added that the Modi government has given permission for the Northern Bypass of Patiala, but the Punjab Government has not yet been able to release its share of Rs 250 crore in its total cost of Rs 752 crore, while the tender for the Northern Bypass was issued on April 24.
