Ludhiana, May 28, 2024: The election campaign of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Ravneet Bittu from Ludhiana received a significant boost as leaders from various parties, including the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress, joined the BJP. The meeting, organized by Rakesh Jain in Veer Nagar, Shivpuri, marked a pivotal moment in Bittu’s campaign.
Speaking at the event, Ravneet Bittu highlighted the widespread support for the BJP across the country, attributing it to the public welfare policies implemented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He noted that the effective decisions taken by Modi over the past decade have elevated India’s standing on the global stage, making Modi a revered leader worldwide.
Bittu emphasized the need for development in Ludhiana, pointing out that while other BJP-ruled states are witnessing the establishment of AIIMS, major colleges, universities and metro, Ludhiana also deserves similar advancements. He described Modi as a “messiah of development” and called for collective support to transform Punjab to match the progress of other states.
Reflecting on the BJP’s previous alliances, Bittu mentioned that while the party used to contest elections alongside the Akali Dal, it is now contesting alone in Punjab. He urged voters to support the BJP to realize Modi’s vision for development.
The event saw the joining of several prominent leaders from AAP and Congress into the BJP, including Ashu Kapoor, Raj Kumar, Himanshu Kapoor, Bhim Sharma, Jitinder Sharma, Amarjit Singh, Jodha Sharma, Lali, Kaushal Khaitan, Ajay, Shruti Jain, and Ishu Jain. Also present were Naveen Jain, Basant Jain, Vipan Jain, Rajesh Malhotra, Ashok Jain, Sham Kundra, Rajesh Gupta, and Amardeep Singh.
Bittu's rallying call emphasized unity and progress, aiming to secure Ludhiana’s future through dedicated support for the BJP on June 1.
