Chandigarh, August 4, 2024: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today announced a decision has been made to recruit 40,000 more posts.
"We have transformed the system and provided jobs to 1,41,000 youths based on merit and transparency, without kharchi-parchi. Additionally, a decision has been made to recruit for 40,000 more posts. Over the past decade, we have laid the foundation for a developed Haryana by eradicating fear, corruption, nepotism, and regionalism," he added.
Taking a dig at the Congress, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini criticized the previous Congress tenure for fostering regionalism in development matters and creating an atmosphere of fear and corruption.
He highlighted that after receiving the mandate in 2014, the current Bharatiya Janata Party government has worked to turn public distrust into trust with sincerity and strong intentions.
Today, Haryana is undergoing a transformation, with rapid industrial growth, increased agricultural production, and significant advancements in women’s empowerment. Haryana's development is now a topic of discussion nationwide, with other states also taking inspiration.
The Chief Minister mentioned that over the past decade, Rs 23,586 crore has been invested in rural development, setting a new direction for progress in villages.
Referring to the extensive development projects undertaken in the last 10 years, the Chief Minister stated that under Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi’s leadership, the Bharatiya Janata Party government is diligently working to advance both the country and the state. We have set a target of executing development projects worth Rs 10 crore in every assembly constituency to further accelerate progress.
Sh Nayab Singh Saini said that under the popular Agnipath scheme launched by the Central Government, the Haryana Government has introduced a provision of 10 percent reservation in government jobs for Agniveers.
Additionally, candidates will be granted a three-year relaxation in the upper age limit for these recruitments. Furthermore, Agniveers will be provided with an interest-free loan of Rs 5 lakh to help set up an industry.
The people of the state are aware of Congress's 'Commission Mode' and our 'Mission Mode'
Chief Minister criticized Congress for attempting to gain political advantage by spreading misinformation through various tactics. He said that while Congress leaders are currently demanding hisaab, their own tenure was marked by commission-based work, in contrast to the mission-mode development approach of the current government.
Under Congress, farmers' lands were acquired at minimal prices and given to builders. Crores of rupees were swindled in the name of CLU. The individuals responsible for these actions are now questioning our accountability.
Sh Saini asserted that every youth appointed to a government job without any financial cost or corruption, every farmer receiving compensation directly through the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, and every elderly person receiving a pension at home, all stand as evidence of our accountability.
He accused Congress of misleading the public with exaggerated claims about unemployment and criticized their aversion to e-governance. Their leaders propagate that if they come to power, they will discontinue the portals. They are saying this because we have closed their ways of corruption through the portal. The Congress party, he claimed, has a culture of scams.
The Chief Minister challenged Congress to reveal the details of their ten years in office along with their election manifesto promises.
He said that the current government’s accounts are transparent and that under Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi’s leadership, development continues to accelerate through the double-engine government.
BJP to secure full majority for the third time in the forthcoming assembly elections
Chief Minister urged the public to respond decisively to those spreading falsehoods in the upcoming assembly elections.
He called on all party workers to pledge that they will visit every household and strive to ensure the BJP forms a government in Haryana with a full majority for the third time in the forthcoming assembly elections.
