PAU-Punjab Agri-Business Incubator launches Student Innovative Program with upto 4 lakh financial assistance

Ludhiana, August 7, 2024 – The PAU- Punjab Agri-Business Incubator (PABI) has announced the launch of a new initiative designed to foster innovative ideas and technological advancements among students in the agriculture and allied sectors.
Giving details about the program, Dr Tejinder Singh Riar, Principal Investigator at PABI, emphasized the significance of this initiative in empowering students to turn their innovative ideas into reality.
"We are committed to supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs in the agriculture sector, providing them with the resources and guidance needed to succeed," he stated.
Programme Highlights:
Financial and Technical Support: Each selected student will receive up to 4 lakh INR in financial assistance to promote their business ideas. This one-time fund is intended to help students develop and implement their innovative concepts.
Eligibility and Recommendations: Students do not need to be registered as startups under DPIIT guidelines to be eligible for this program, ensuring broad access to support.
Innovation and Start-Up Activities: The program encourages student-driven innovations and startups, engaging students in activities that foster problem-solving skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. It also provides opportunities for students to connect with various stakeholders at regional, national, and international levels.
