Farmers to hold Mahapanchayat in Pipli on Sept 22

Ferozepur, September 20, 2024: The members of BKU Shaheed Bhagat Singh announced the upcoming Farmers' Mahapanchayat on September 22, 2024, at Pipli Grain Market in Kurukshetra, Haryana.
The event, dubbed as "Farmers' Protest 2.0," aims to reignite the momentum for their demands. The gathering is expected to see a massive turnout of farmers, tribals, labourers, and youth from Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh.
The leaders emphasized that the BJP government should not forget the sacrifices of farmers and the power of their movement. They recalled how the first Farmers' Mahapanchayat in Pipli sparked a nationwide awakening and expressed confidence that this Mahapanchayat would achieve new milestones.
During the event, key decisions and future programs of the farmers' front will be discussed. BKU Shaheed Bhagat Singh has called on farmers, laborers, and the youth across the country to participate in large numbers and raise their voices for their rights.
The Mahapanchayat has already garnered widespread support from across the country. The organizers urged the administration and the government to avoid mistakes similar to the ones made during the previous Uchaana Mahapanchayat. Farmers have been peacefully protesting at Shambhu Morcha and Khanauri Border for over seven months.
