Haryana: Two employees suspended for negligence in paddy procurement process

Chandigarh, October 11, 2024 – Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that farmers and Arhtiyas should not face any difficulties during the paddy procurement process in the ‘mandis’.
As soon as farmers bring their paddy to the mandis, the concerned agencies must ensure its purchase according to the rules.
In light of negligence in paddy procurement at Ladwa, the Chief Minister directed the suspension of HAFED Manager/Inspector, Kuldeep and DFSC Department, Inspector, Sandeep Ahlawat.
The Chief Minister was on a visit to Pipli, Ladwa, and Babain mandis today.
During the visit to the mandi, Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini directed the officers to ensure that the paddy procurement process runs smoothly and that its lifting is carried out in a timely manner.
He emphasised that farmers should receive payments for their crops within the stipulated time.Also, he directed the officers to provide all basic amenities to farmers and Arhtiyas to avoid any inconvenience in selling their produce in the mandis.
He also directed that the concerned authorities must ensure that as soon as a farmer brings their paddy crop to the mandi, it should be purchased at the MSP.
