Spa centers and parlours in Ludhiana issued directons to check anti-social activities

Ludhiana (Punjab), November 11, 2024: In view of the increasing incidents of SPA Centers and Parlours indulging in anti-social activities, the office of Commissioner of Police Ludhiana has issued directions to the centers to regulate their activities.
“It has been made to appear to me that sometimes some of the owners/managers of SPA centers and Massage parlors falling under the jurisdiction of PoliceCommisionerate Ludhiana are indulging and carrying out anti-social activities in contravention of laws at these centers. They are entertaining people without proper identification and providing them illegal services which fall under various offenses of IPC and other local and specials Acts,” read the order issued by Jaskirat Singh Teja, DCP, Rural-cum-Headquarter, Ludhiana.
To prevent any annoyance, injury to any person and to prevent any danger to human life and to check illegal activities of anti-social elements and further keeping in view the public safety, Rakesh Agarwal has issued series of directions including installing day and night CCTV cameras that covering the entire exit and entry points along with reception desk.
Similarly, the center owners have also been asked to maintain a record of every customer visiting the center including the foreign workers.
