Haryana Minister Anil Vij calls Union Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu in Delhi
Union Minister immediately instructs officials to install these security systems – Anil Vij

New Delhi, November 12, 2024 - Haryana’s Energy, Transport, and Labor Minister Anil Vij today said he met Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu in Delhi.He requested the Union Minister to expedite the installation of security equipment at the Civil Airport being developed in Ambala Cantonment.
In response, the Union Minister immediately instructed officials to install this equipment. Additionally, Vij invited the Union Civil Aviation Minister to inaugurate the Ambala Cantonment Civil Airport.
Vij was answering questions asked by the media persons today.
"Flights will begin as soon as the security equipment is installed" – Anil Vij
He stated “A civil airport has been approved under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ambitious UDAN scheme for my assembly constituency, Ambala Cantonment. The airport is ready, all equipment is in place, and the remaining security equipment needs to be installed by the aviation department. That’s why I met with the Union Civil Aviation Minister today to ensure it is installed expedite so that flights can start soon."
Vij added “I’ve invited him to inaugurate the airport as well. He assured me that all formalities will soon be completed, and once the security equipment is in place, flights will begin shortly.”
"The conference of the nation’s energy ministers will discuss reducing electricity production costs, increasing generation, and other issues" – Vij
In response to a question about the energy ministers' conference in Delhi, he said that “The conference will focus on issues like reducing electricity production costs and increasing generation. Officials are attending on my behalf as I had another engagement.”
"Consumers will be given the option to choose between prepaid or postpaid meters" – Vij
In response to a question about prepaid electricity meters, Vij explained, “Smart meters with prepaid facilities are being installed, and tenders have been completed. Consumers will be able to choose between prepaid or postpaid, similar to mobile recharges.”
"The Congress has always opposed Hindu culture, values, and thought" – Vij
Responding to Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge’s statement on UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and saffron, Vij stated that “The Congress has consistently opposed Hindu culture, values, and thought. Saffron is a sacred symbol in Hinduism, and opposing it is inappropriate. The day starts with saffron hues in the sky, but Congress members may not have seen a sunrise. Kharge’s statement is inappropriate, he added.”
"Whether it’s Maharashtra or Jharkhand, wherever elections are held, the Bharatiya Janata Party will win" – Vij
Vij said that “The BJP will win in Maharashtra, Jharkhand, and everywhere elections are held because Prime Minister Narendra Modi has changed the course of politics. Unlike past leaders who made promises only to secure votes, Modi has initiated a politics of development, aiming to make India a developed nation by 2047.” He added that previous leaders never had such a vision.

He said that “Prime Minister Modi’s vision of a developed India by 2047 has inspired people across all states. Citizens want to progress together with Modi so that our states and the country become developed. Even after nearly 100 years of independence, people still lack basic amenities. Modi’s steps toward development aim to provide all necessary facilities to the people.” He added that elections in states like Haryana reflect the same sentiment, as people voted based on development and not opposition's narratives.
"The Prime Minister rightly said, 'If we stay united, we stay safe'" – Vij
In response to the controversy over the statement "Batenge to Kategen," Vij said, “The Prime Minister made a good point, ‘If we stay united, we stay safe.’ He is advocating for unity and not speaking about any specific religion or community.”
Vij’s jibe at Hooda: "What to do with Hooda sahib? He lost and is sitting at home quietly; it’s not possible he won’t speak at all."
Regarding Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s statements on fertilizer issues, Vij commented, “Fertilizers are being distributed properly across the state, and supplies are being replenished as needed.”Taking a dig, he said, “Hooda lost and is now sitting quietly at home; of course, he has to speak up.”
"I have served seven terms as MLA and have observed the work of all chief ministers" – Vij
Regarding the demand for a longer assembly session by Hooda and the opposition, Vij responded, “Hooda should consider his own record. When they were in power, did they extend the winter session? I have served seven terms as MLA and have witnessed the work of all chief ministers.”
He added that all relevant issues will be discussed, and bills will be introduced during the assembly session, along with the governor’s address, during which all members can share their views.
