State government will launch a special campaign in villages and cities for the settlement of dispute-free mutation cases - Sherry Kalsi

Gurdaspur, December 1, 2024: Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has decided to launch a special campaign in the villages and cities of the state by the Revenue Department for the immediate settlement of mutation cases and to end the hassle of the people. This decision of the state government is commendable and it will provide great relief to the people.
Sharing information in this regard, MLA from Batala and state working president of Aam Aadmi Party Aman Sher Singh Sherry Kalsi said that as per the instructions of the government, it is mandatory to decide on dispute-free mutations within 45 days. He said that in this regard, a special campaign will be launched by the Revenue Department under the leadership of Revenue and Rehabilitation Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian and all such cases will be resolved within a month. He said that after December 31, if any dispute-free mutation is found pending in any Tehsil/Sub-Tehsil beyond the time limit of 45 days, strict action will be taken against the concerned officer/employee responsible for it.
State Working President Sherry Kalsi said that under the orders of the Punjab Government, the Revenue Department has issued a letter to the Deputy Commissioners, SDMs, District Revenue Officers, Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars of the state and has directed them to launch a special campaign and decide on the settlement of all pending dispute-free mutations by December 31.
He said that if any person faces any problem in registering or getting a dispute-free mutation approved or any officer/employee demands a bribe from them in this regard, then they can inform on the helpline number 1100.
