The transaction underscores the city’s growing clout in the ultra-luxury real estate segment and sets a new benchmark in the National Capital Region (NCR).
Meet the Buyer: Rishi Parti
The record-breaking penthouse was purchased by Rishi Parti, founder of Info-x Software Technology, who paid ₹13 crore in stamp duty alone for the 16,290-square-foot property located on the prestigious Golf Course Road.
Price Breakdown
This deal equates to ₹1.2 lakh per square foot based on the super area and ₹1.8 lakh per square foot for the carpet area, emphasizing the surging demand for premium residences in Gurugram’s luxury market.
A New Milestone in Indian Real Estate
The ₹190 crore penthouse deal surpasses previous records in the NCR, dethroning Mumbai’s Lodha Malabar apartments as the priciest high-rise condominium transactions. Lodha Malabar’s apartments were sold for ₹263 crore at ₹1.36 lakh per square foot on the carpet area.

This transaction is not just a milestone for Gurugram but also a reflection of the robust demand for ultra-luxury homes in India, a trend expected to continue as high-net-worth individuals seek properties that offer both exclusivity and value.
