Fatehgarh Sahib (Punjab), December 12, 2024: DIG, Rupnagar Range, Harcharan Singh Bhullar, and SSP Dr. Ravjot Grewal held a meeting with police officers at Bachat Bhawan regarding the preparations for the Shaheedi Sabha and asked the officers to perform their duties with full dedication and devotion.
The police department will deploy about 04 thousand police personnel and officers. Along with this, the services of various social service organizations and volunteers will also be taken for the arrangements of the Shaheedi Sabha.
On this occasion, the alternative routes of traffic to be made for the convenience of the Sangat were also discussed in detail.
Bhullar said that the scope of the shuttle bus service for Sangat will be increased this time, and 08 points will be made for the boarding and alighting of these buses this time instead of 04.
He said that police support centers will also be set up and good arrangements will be made for the accommodation of the force.
Along with this, the police officers and employees who have served during the Shaheedi Sabha in the past years will also be deployed. DIG appealed to the organizers of the langar to set the langar away from the roads so that there is no disruption in the movement of the Sangat.
Along with this, he instructed the police personnel to interact with the people with complete humility and love.
He appealed to the people to cooperate with the police. The police is always present in the service of the people. Bhullar also took suggestions for better arrangements of the Shaheedi Sabha from the manager of Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib, S. Gurdeep Singh Kang, and local media personnel.
During this meeting, a large number of police personnel and officials, including SP Shri Rakesh Yadav, were also present.
