Chandigarh, May 7, 2025 — Haryana today carried out large-scale civil defense mock drills across multiple districts as part of a nationwide exercise organized by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
The drills were conducted in Gurugram, Sonipat, Hisar, Panipat, Jhajjar, and Sirsa, focusing on strengthening disaster preparedness and emergency response.
The exercise tested readiness in handling fire emergencies, building evacuations, medical aid, and inter-agency coordination between police, health services, and local administration.Ministry officials monitored the operations, evaluating response times and coordination efforts.
