Haryana CM Saini assures full support to farmers, villagers affected by heavy rains

Chandigarh, September 7, 2025: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday assured that the state government stands firmly with the people during this natural disaster and that all losses due to heavy rains will be compensated.
Addressing villagers during his visit from Narwana to Tohana, the Chief Minister said that an e-Kshatipurti portal has been launched at the village level in affected areas to enable farmers to upload details of their crop losses.
He emphasized that the interests of farmers, poor laborers, and all affected people are fully protected and informed that he is personally monitoring the situation caused by waterlogging.
Stopping at Baba Jamin Nath Gaushala in village Dharodi, Saini interacted with villagers and assured them of all possible government assistance, particularly for farmers.
He also stated that special instructions have been issued to all Deputy Commissioners and officials of the Revenue and Irrigation Departments to keep strict vigilance on waterlogging and ensure immediate drainage where needed, so that residents do not suffer unnecessary hardship.
Later in the day, the Chief Minister also visited Lon, Dhamtan Sahib, and Kalwan villages. Villagers expressed gratitude to him and appreciated the relief efforts being carried out by the government and administration during the rainy season.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Imran Raza and senior officials accompanied the Chief Minister during his visit.
