DK Tiwari calls for innovation-led governance at NIC Punjab’s statewide training workshop
Chandigarh, October 23, 2025:
In a push to deepen digital governance and administrative excellence, NIC Punjab hosted a three-day training-cum-workshop for its officers, culminating in a Karmayogi iGOT session to drive innovation-led governance and advance the state’s citizen-centric digital vision.
Additional Chief Secretary (DGG&IT) DK Tiwari said Punjab’s digital transformation is setting new benchmarks in governance and service delivery, lauding NIC Punjab as the government’s digital backbone through flagship platforms like iHRMS and eOffice. He urged officers to adopt artificial intelligence, data analytics, and smart systems to reimagine workflows, expand outreach, and strengthen transparency through modern interfaces and real-time service platforms.
Chaired by Vivek Verma, DDG and State Informatics Officer, the workshop drew officers from all 23 districts and the State Centre. In his welcome, Verma emphasized continuous skill-building and knowledge-sharing to build future-ready systems, while ASIO (State) Vikram Jeet Grover outlined objectives and encouraged collaborative problem-solving and innovation.

Closing the programme, Vikram Jeet Grover commended participants and organizers for active engagement, underscoring NIC Punjab’s role in improving administrative efficiency and digital accessibility across the state.
