Breaking: Hamdard TV Anchor kidnapped

Mohali (Punjab), November 4, 2025: In a shocking development, journalist and Hamdard TV anchor Gurpiar Singh has reportedly been kidnapped by two Nihang men from Hamdard TV’s office (G-34, Shivalik Vihar, Naya Gaon, SAS Nagar, Mohali) at around 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
According to initial information, two unidentified Nihangs allegedly abducted the journalist from the media office premises before fleeing the scene. The motive behind the kidnapping remains unclear at this stage.
Based on inputs from Canada-based owner and Chief Editor of Hamdard TV, Amar Singh Bhullar, the SSP Mohali and senior police officials have initiated an investigation into the incident and are examining CCTV footage from the area to trace the suspects.
