Haryana launches digital Drug Inventory System to modernize AYUSH services

Chandigarh, November 15, 2025: Haryana Health Minister Aarti Singh Rao announced the launch of a Drug Inventory Management System aimed at bringing greater transparency, accuracy, and efficiency to drug management across the state’s AYUSH Department.
The new digital platform will offer real-time online access to medicine availability, stock levels, distribution, and utilization, significantly reducing manual errors and ensuring smoother operations.
The minister said the initiative reflects the state government’s commitment to making AYUSH services more robust, transparent, and citizen-friendly. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, the AYUSH sector is undergoing major reforms to improve accessibility and service quality for the public.
She added that the Directorate of AYUSH is closely monitoring medicine supplies across all AYUSH health institutions, with a strengthened distribution system in place to prevent shortages.
Aarti Singh Rao further highlighted that detailed guidelines have been issued to Panchayati Raj Institutions to ensure the smooth functioning of yoga schools statewide.
Daily yoga routines are now being followed, benefiting thousands by promoting physical well-being, mental balance, and social harmony.
The minister also shared that construction of the upcoming Shri Krishna AYUSH University is progressing rapidly. The university is expected to serve as a leading center for AYUSH education, research, and training, setting new standards for the sector in Haryana and North India.
She reaffirmed that the state government aims to make AYUSH services more accessible, efficient, and effective, delivering improved healthcare facilities to the people of Haryana.
