Chandigarh, December 10, 2025 — Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab Chief Spokesperson and MLA Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on Congress leaders Pratap Singh Bajwa and Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa over their silence on the recent ₹500-crore “CM face” allegations made by Navjot Kaur Sidhu.
Dhaliwal questioned why leaders who were once vocal on every issue have remained silent on these serious corruption claims. “Leader of the Opposition Pratap Bajwa used to speak extensively earlier, but after Madam Sidhu’s statement, he has gone completely silent. This silence clearly indicates that the allegations made by Sidhu, and later supported by Sunil Jakhar, could be true,” Dhaliwal said.
Demanding immediate clarification from Bajwa, Dhaliwal said, “The public is now treating this silence as an admission of guilt. Bajwa must explain his position before the people of Punjab.”
He further raised the issue of Bajwa’s alleged involvement in the sale of the Tarn Taran seat and questioned whether Congress now treats everything as being “on sale”. “Did the ₹500-crore deal for the CM face actually happen or not? Bajwa must answer,” Dhaliwal said.
He added that if Congress leaders continue to remain silent, it could be interpreted as tacit acceptance of the controversial deal, raising serious concerns about corruption within the party.
