New Delhi, December 12, 2025: The Union Home Ministry has issued a special directive restricting the physical custody of gangster Anmol Bishnoi for security reasons. According to NIA sources, the order—issued under Section 303 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS)—prohibits any state police or investigating agency from taking Bishnoi into their custody for the next one year.
During this period, all agencies requiring his interrogation must conduct it exclusively inside Tihar Jail. The move comes amid heightened security concerns linked to Bishnoi’s criminal network and potential threats during transit or custody transfers.
