Chandigarh, December 15, 2025: Punjab and Haryana High Court lawyers today went on strike.
Gagandeep Jammu Honorary Secretary Punjab & Haryana High Court, Bar Association, Chandigarh disclosed that an emergent meeting of the General House was convened by the members of the Bar including victim namely Amit, in connection with the complaint of harassment, assault, and criminal trespass allegedly committed against. Amit, Advocate, a member of the Bar, by officials of CIA-1, Hisar and inaction by the Mohali/ Nayagaon Police despite request made to Advocate General, Punjab also.
After due deliberations, the General House unanimously resolved to abstain from work today onwards i.e. 15.12.2025 as FIR has not been registered against the concerned officials of CIA-1, Hisar at Police Station Nayagaon, Mohali, Punjab, regarding which General House shall be called again tomorrow to decide upon further course of action.
