Fatehgarh Sahib (Punjab), December 16, 2025: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday unveiled detailed arrangements for the annual Shaheedi Sabha at Fatehgarh Sahib, expecting millions of devotees to attend. The government has ensured facilities for safety, health, transport, communication, and cleanliness.
To safeguard health, six dispensaries and 20 Aam Aadmi Clinics will operate. For mobility, 200 free shuttle buses and over 100 e-rickshaws will help devotees, especially those with difficulty walking. Temporary mobile towers will maintain connectivity throughout the venue.
Security measures include over 3,300 police personnel, 300 CCTV cameras, 72 barricaded areas, a dedicated police control room with helpline, and sector-wise management led by senior officials to handle lost children, emergencies, and crowd control.
Cleanliness will be maintained through volunteer teams working in shifts, supported by sweeping machines from nearby districts. Parking arrangements for tractors and scheduled shuttles will ensure smooth transport.
He further shared that so far, the SGPC has not contacted the government regarding the Shaheedi Sabha, but the government is fully prepared and willing to provide all necessary support for arrangements in the Gurdwaras.
CM Mann also announced government-approved blood donation camps, strict supervision to prevent unauthorized activities, and emphasized that the event is above politics. These measures, he said, reflect the government’s commitment to a safe, peaceful, and well-managed Shaheedi Sabha honoring the martyrs of Fatehgarh Sahib.
