Chandigarh, December 19, 2025: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Friday said that the state is being run by a performance-driven government which continues to enjoy the trust and confidence of the people. He remarked that the consistent strengthening of the road network over the past 11 years has unsettled the opposition.
The Chief Minister made these remarks during Question Hour on the second day of the Winter Session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha while responding to a question raised by MLA Smt. Geeta Bhukkal.
Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that the opposition’s practice of bringing posters or newspaper clippings into the House does not affect the government in any manner.
He emphasized that the present government believes in delivering results on the ground. He added that previous governments failed to accord due priority to road infrastructure, whereas the current administration has undertaken comprehensive road strengthening across the state.
The Chief Minister stated that it is this visible improvement in infrastructure over the last 11 years that is causing discomfort to the opposition. Referring to ongoing projects, he said that a greenfield expressway is being developed from Jhajjar to Chhuchhakwas, but opposition members have not acknowledged these efforts.
He further remarked that the opposition should at least appreciate and thank the government for significantly improving road connectivity and infrastructure throughout Haryana.
