New Delhi, December 21, 2025: Travelers are in for a price shock as Indian Railways has announced an increase in train fares. The revised fare structure will come into effect from December 26, 2025, resulting in higher ticket prices across various classes.
According to the railway authorities, the fare revision is expected to generate an additional revenue of ₹600 crore. Commuters are advised to plan their journeys accordingly, as ticket rates will reflect the new structure from the specified date.
