The School of Eminence in Khamano Kalan, Fatehgarh Sahib, conducted a student workshop under the Sew Green Go Green initiative. Organized by the Abhilasha Foundation with technical support from the Punjab State Council for Science and Technology (PSCST) through its Science Alliance for Youth Associates program, the event received backing from the Government of India.
The workshop aimed to promote environmental awareness, sustainability, and discussions on climate change.
Chief Guests:
Rupinder Singh Happy, MLA of Bassi Pathana, together with Principal Manoj Kumar Pushkarna, spoke to the students, underscoring the significance of natural resources.
They highlighted how the responsible utilization of these resources contributes to better social health, sustainability, and environmental welfare.

By gracing the occasion with her presence, Satinderpal Kaur contributed to the event's overall importance.

He emphasized that this workshop represents a crucial part of integrating sustainable practices into school curriculum's.
Encouraging students, he urged them to see textile and garment creation not just as a skill but as a significant move towards
promoting industrial responsibility and environmental well-being.
He also extended his gratitude to the school administration and the community for their steadfast support.
