Breaking: HC grants bail to Akali leader Nardev Mann

Chandigarh, December 22, 2025: The Punjab & Haryana High Court has granted bail to senior Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Nardev Singh, alias Bobby Mann, son of the late three‑time MP Zora Singh Mann of Ferozepur.
Mann, who contested the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from Ferozepur on an SAD ticket, was earlier arrested by Punjab Police in connection with a violent confrontation during the 2024 panchayat elections.
The first information report lodged in Jalalabad, Fazilka district, named him along with his brother Vardev Singh (Nonni Mann) and others, alleging firing, criminal intimidation and attempt to murder during the nomination process outside the Block Development and Panchayat Officer’s office.
