  Patiala, December 23, 2025: Condition of former IG Amar Singh Chahal who had tried to commit suicide yesterday, is stable in a private hospital.
  
  He had shot himself in chest yesterday evening and was rushed to a private hospital where he was operated.
  
  Now his condition is stated to be out of danger.
