Tehsildar suspended in Punjab

Patiala (Punjab), January 10, 2026: In a significant administrative decision, the Punjab government has suspended Patiala Tehsildar Karandeep Singh Bhullar with immediate effect.
The action was taken by the Department of Revenue under the directives of the Additional Chief Secretary-cum-Financial Commissioner (Revenue), according to Deputy Commissioner of Patiala, Dr. Preeti Yadav.
To ensure the smooth functioning of office operations, the additional charge of Patiala Tehsildar has been assigned to the Tehsildar of Nabha. The Nabha Tehsildar will perform the duties of the Patiala Tehsildar without any additional remuneration or allowance.
