CPDL extends bill payment deadline amid transition to montlhy billing cycle

Chandigarh, February 9, 2026 : To ensure consumer convenience and address concerns regarding delayed receipt of electricity bills to few set of customers, Chandigarh Power Distribution Limited (CPDL) has extended the last date for bill payment from February 12 to February 17, 2026.
This extension aims to provide consumers with adequate time to complete their payments without inconvenience.
Consumers may continue to use the same bill to make payments by accessing CPDL’s payment gateway through the official website, https://chandigarhpower.com.
As CPDL transitions to a monthly billing system in line with the guidelines of the Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission (JERC), the company stands firmly with its consumers and sincerely seeks their cooperation and support. These changes are being implemented in the larger public interest to streamline processes and enhance transparency.
