Jhinjer honours UPSC topper Rasneet Kaur Kamboj, calls her pride of Punjab

Ghanaur, March 8, 2026: Punjab’s daughter Rasneet Kaur Kamboj has brought pride to the state by securing All India Rank 51 in the prestigious Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination, one of the toughest competitive exams in the country.
Marking the achievement, Sarabjeet Singh Jhinjer, President of Youth Akali Dal and incharge of the Ghanaur constituency, visited her residence in Madanpur Chalahedi village and honoured her for the remarkable success.
Congratulating Rasneet and her family, Jhinjer said her achievement has brought immense pride to her parents, her village, the Ghanaur constituency and the entire state of Punjab. He added that such accomplishments serve as a strong inspiration for the youth of Punjab.
“This historic success proves that with hard work, dedication and determination, young people can achieve any goal they set for themselves,” he said.
Jhinjer also highlighted that the soil of Punjab is rich in talent and that the youth of the state have the potential to play a crucial role in the country’s progress. He said that students like Rasneet not only bring honour to their families but also motivate other young people to pursue their ambitions.
He further stated that when the Shiromani Akali Dal forms the government in Punjab in 2027, the party will create greater opportunities for youth in education, employment and skill development. Special schemes will also be introduced to support students preparing for competitive examinations.
Referring to party leadership, Jhinjer said that Sukhbir Singh Badal, president of the Shiromani Akali Dal, has always emphasized empowering the youth of Punjab and providing them with opportunities to grow.
Concluding the visit, Jhinjer once again congratulated Rasneet Kaur Kamboj and prayed for her continued success, expressing hope that she would serve the nation with dedication and remain a guiding inspiration for other young aspirants.
