Sukhbir on Election campaign for Harsimrat
Ludhiana, April 10: MLA Khanna Gurkirat Singh Kotli said the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) has been changed a lot and deserted its morals. Now, the SAD does not see whether the candidate the party has fielded has sacrificed something or had gone to jail for the party, the party only consider is how much cash the candidate possesses. Kotli said the SAD and BJP are opportunists. Kotli was campaigning for Ravneet Singh Bittu congress candidate and Member parliament in ward number 66 of Atam Nagar area. Senior congress leaders KK Bawa, Palwinder Singh taggar, Jasvir Singh Jassal, Balwinder Singh Bedi, Rajinder Singh Bajwa, Resham Saggu, Insderjir Sharma, Sukhwinder Singh Gill, Kamal Sharma and Rajinder Singh Gill also accompanied him. Mr. Kotli said the people of the area unanimously said, the state has developed in the reign of congress and enjoyed peace and law and order. Now, in the reign of SAD-BJP the law and order situation in the state has been decaying. According to the constitution the government has to protect lives and belongings of people but the state government has proved failed at this front. Hence, the SAD-BJP alliance is good for nothing. Mr. Kotli and Mr. Bawa onslaught SAD-BJP said the alliance has been damagi9ng democracy by favoring corrupting and hooliganism that is harmful for the country. The leaders further added that the SAD has no morality left with it. The SAD has alliance with BJP, but also favors Indian national Lok Dal in Haryana that has been opposing BJP. It is apparent that the SAD is party of opportunists. They said the prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi has concealed his marriage, how could the people believe in him. Youth leader Inderjit Singh Gill was also present at the occasion. Member Parliament and congress candidate from Ludhiana Mr. Ravneet Singh Bittu said all basic facilities provided to villages are central government funded. He said, only congress can develop the villages of India. Mr. Bittu has visited villages Sidhwan Bet, Salempur, Sadarpura, Bangsipuram Rauwal, Gorsian Makkhan, Bhoondri, Bharowal Khurd, Purain, Bassian Bet, Khanjarwal and Sawaddi of Jagraon and addressed meetings. He met people and asked about their problems. He said the leaders of ruling parties have been distributing drugs in the villages and ruining lives of many. He said schemes of central government has been initiating Prime Minister Gram Sarad Yojna for making roads in villages, health facilities under national rural health mission, houses to underprivileged under Indira Awas Yojna, water supply and water tanks have been build in villages for undisturbed water supply to villages. The central government has been connecting villages by internet through national optical fibre project. Mr. Bittu also welcomed Kulwant Singh who has joined congress and left SAD. On the occasion ex-MLA Gurdeep Singh Bhaini, Major Singh Bhaini, Manjeet Singh Bharowal, Malkit Singh Dakha, Gurinder Singh Sarpanch, Gurdeep Singh Sidhwan Bet, Suresh Kumar Garg were also present.
