Bathinda, April 26 : Describing NDA’s prime ministerial candidate Mr. Narinder Modi’s successful rallies as another shot in the arm of SAD-BJP alliance, Shiromani Akali Dal President and Deputy Chief Minister Punjab Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal today said that Mr. Modi’s rallies have encouraged the Punjabis to give 13 out of 13 score to SAD-BJP alliance in these Lok Sabha Polls. He said that formulas given by Mr. Modi for agro-industrial growth reflected his vision for overall development of Punjab and the country. Addressing an election rally at historic village Ganga Ablu after inducting prominent congress leaders from the area Mr. Sukhdev Singh Brar, Mr. Beant Singh Brar and their supporters into the party folds, Mr. Badal said that massive gatherings both from urban and rural areas in all the five rallies of Mr. Modi, once again proved alliance’s strength in the state. “Mr. Modi’s address has created a sensation not just among the alliance cadre but across a wide spectrum of people here. His rally will make a noticeable impact on the alliance’s poll prospects in the state. He has great appeal among the people of Punjab and these rallies encourages them to give 13 out of 13 score to the allianceâ€, He added. Mr. Badal said that love and affection of people for the SAD-BJP alliance could be judged from the fact that on one hand people shouted slogans so loudly and enthusiastically that one could hear these from a distance of kilometers and on other hand there was pin drop silence in the rallies when Mr. Modi, Mr. Parkash Singh Badal and other alliance leaders spell their vision and strategies for the overall development of Punjab and the nation. Mr. Badal said that speeches delivered by Mr. Narinder Modi during these rallies reflected his commitment and vision for the developing India. He said that the formulas manifested by Mr. Modi for the development of cotton, tourism and other sectors showed his intellectual strength and political will for the overall development of all the sections of society. Later addressing series of election rallies in favour of Mrs. Harsimrat Kaur Badal at Boha, Bareta and Budhlada, Mr. Badal Congratulated the leaders and workers of SAD-BJP for the grand success of Bathinda rally. He said that this rally was a morale booster for the party leaders and workers who were straining every nerve to woo the voters. He said that the response from self-motivated crowds to the rally has depicted the record victory of Mrs. Harsimrat Kaur Badal. “The massive gathering, which consisted supporters from all sections of society, waited for almost two and half hours to listen to the NDA’s prime ministerial candidate address. It shows their faith in the allianceâ€, said Mr. Badal. Mr. Badal said that Congress candidate who was time and again rejected by the people of Punjab was never a challenge for SAD-BJP alliance and party was considering Lok Sabha poll in Bathinda as a golden opportunity to get feedback and suggestions from the people of the constituency regarding numerous development initiated by SAD-BJP government and Member Parliament Mrs. Harsimrat Kaur Badal in the area. Shiromani Akali Dal President said that SAD-BJP alliance would surprise electoral pundits this time with its performance in Lok Sabha elections.
