Jalalabad, February 02, 2017: Congress Ludhiana MP and party candidate from Jalalabad Ravneet Singh Bittu today assured the people of the constituency that he would not desert them and function from here. “All of us are outsiders, including Sukhbir Singh Badal and Bhagwant Mann. You elected Sukhbir earlier but he has never functioned from here. He operates mainly from Delhi and not even from Chandigarh. Similar is the case of Mann. I hereby makes solemn commitment with you that I will never leave you and would be available always and share all your joys and sorrows”, he said.
Ravnit held massive roadshows in Jalalabad and Arnivaala where in he was accompanied by thousands of the youth and the locals. The roadshow trans versed through the bazaars, markets, dana mandi and various important places of the city.
Ravneet asserted that all the surveys so far had indicated ascendency of Congress and this is the party that is going to form the next government. The people of Jalalabad would be partner in the next government. He promised a different experience under the Congress government as under the Akali Dal-BJP government a number of villages continue to be without basic facilities like drinking water.
He reiterated that Aam Aadmi Party posed a serious threat to the unity and integrity of the country in view of its links with both the Left and Sikh radicals in the state. Moreover, its convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is known for his links with the organisations associated with the CIA and his NGO has been getting funds from them. This man preaching morality to others had illegally floated his NGO while being in government service.
He said he would not like to comment upon the functioning of Bhagwant Mann as he did not believe in the politics of personalities but it was his duty to caution the people of Jalalabad. He said running a government was different from being a professional comedian. He urged the people to go into his performance in the Lok Sabha too. He called upon the people to vote for Congress for a better future and people-oriented development and governance.
