Manpreet Badal’s whole family joins in campaign in Bathinda Urban

Punjab Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal said Priyanka Gandhi will address a massive public rally in favour of Congress Lok Sabha candidate Amarinder Singh Raja Warring in Bathinda on May 14.
Manpreet Singh Badal’s whole family is campaigning in city. His wife Veenu Badal, brother in law Jaijeet Johal and son Arjun Badal are addressing meetings in the different wards of the city. Veenu Badal is pin pointing the women voters whereas Arjun Badal is contacting youngsters and students.
Manpreet Badal today held public meetings at BirTalab Road, Power House Road, Bank Bazaar, Shakti Nagar, Ajit Road, Home Land Enclave, Madhokpura Mohalla, Ghanahaiya Nagar, Post Office Bazaar, Railway Market, Model Town Phase 3 and 1, Vishal Nagar, Shant Nagar and Aawa Basti and other areas in the city.
While addressing a gathering during public meetings in the city, he said "Captain Amarinder Singh led government's main aim is to improve the finances of the state thereby making Punjab a revenue surplus state. "
While interacting with the people, he said "SAD-BJP government had ruined Punjab due to its wrong policies. He said that when the Congress government took over, the state's income was low and the expenditure was high.During SAD-BJP government state's expenditure was 110 percent and income was low.
But now Congress government has increased the revenue of the state, by putting a cut on unnecessary expenditure. He said "Congress government has reduced the state's expenditure from 110 percent to 70 per cent. This has resulted in an increase in state's income. With this accumulated income every section of Punjab will be benefited.
He appealed to the people that for the all round development of the state, Congress led UPA government is must at centre.
While addressing the public meetings, Manpreet Badal said the development of Bathinda is my core agenda and Rs 350 crore development works are going on in the city. He assured that all the promises which he had done with the people of the city during 2017 election would be fulfilled.
He said two years have gone and work on many projects is underway and still three years are left, a lot more will be done.
He also stated that getting big industry in the city is also on my agenda, which will boost the trade and create jobs for the local youths.
It is worth mentioning that the people of every section of the city are giving full support to the Finance Minister and are promising to support the Congress party in the lok sabha elections
